INFORMATION

Hey there,

Thanks for checking out my photography! From my own personal experience, I know what most people are wondering when they’re contemplating which local photographer to go with for portraits... What do I get? Can I choose my own photos? What's the investment? When will I get my photos back? The list goes on and on. I’ve created this Information overview to hopefully address any questions you might have about what it means to book with me. Give it a good read, and if you have any further questions my inbox is always open!

Here’s What You Get!

Me! & occasionally an assistant of mine

I approach each session with the same goal in mind – to ensure my clients feel comfortable and of course, to capture some awesome images. Whether you’re new to portrait photography, or have spent some time in front of the camera, I offer my clients my creative-eye, pose guiding, and facial expression guiding throughout the session. Depending on the day, I may also have an assistant with me!

On-location Photography

This means that you get to choose to take your photos wherever you please! Travel time does not include to and from the location, but does include driving time between locations if you choose to shoot at two places. Additional travel fees may apply should you choose to shoot outside of the Tacoma area.

Personal Selection of Images

All of my clients get to choose their own photos! Within 1 week after your Session, you'll receive a link to an online "Review Gallery." This Review Gallery will include ALL of the unedited images from the day of your session. From there, clients get to "Favorite" whichever photos they'd like for retouching. For instance, if you choose a 10 image Package, you'd "Favorite" 10 images in the Review Gallery, and those are the images you'll get back edited!

Once a client finishes selecting their Favorites in the Review Gallery and gives me the go-ahead to begin editing, there will be no going back. In other words, if you finish selecting your photos and I begin the editing process, I will not allow clients to go back and change their selections a week later. Therefore, I suggest my clients spend a few days ensuring that they Favorite photos that they really, truly love.

Exclusive Online Gallery

For all client viewing, downloading, and delivering purposes, clients have access to their own private, personalized, Online Gallery. This means that instead of receiving your photos back on something tangible like a CD or thumb-drive, it’s all online. In the years I’ve been doing this, digital delivery online has proved to be the quickest and easiest way. The Gallery is user-friendly and I’ve found that clients of all generations can navigate it with ease!

Professional Makeup (Optional)

In my opinion, professional makeup can take your portraits to the next level. I work closely with a few INCREDIBLE professional Makeup Artists at some of the best Salons in the area that do amazing work.

Use of Props

Props are also a wonderful way to spice up your photos. Whether it's sports equipment, balloons, or your favorite books, the use of props can really bring your photos to life and show us who you are. I highly encourage this with Seniors. Bring along whatever means something to you!

Bring a Friend

I've found that bringing a parent, best friend, or significant other along can really help my clients feel more comfortable and have more fun! If you desire, they can hop in front of the lens for a few shots as well.

Split Sessions

I do offer my clients the option to split their session in-between two different days. For example, if you select the 1-Hour session and want to do 30 minutes in one day, and 30 minutes a week later, that is doable. However, clients must understand that this WILL increase the amount of time it takes to get their photos back, and that there is a $50.00 fee for splitting the session.

Sneak Peek

After the session, I know how excited my clients are to see the photos, so I do my best to send my clients a couple sneak peeks before the Final Gallery arrives.

Prints to Purchase

One of the most awesome aspects of the Online Gallery through which clients receive their photos is that Prints can be purchased there too! Clients can pick and choose which photos they'd like prints of, and order from a variety of different sizes and photo finishes like glossy, canvas, and even metal works. Think of it like online-shopping, but for photos, and the quality is AMAZING!

FAME

If my clients don’t mind, I love to share my photos on my official website, my Instagram (@csphoto253). Unless my clients ask me not to, you can expect to be featured on my Instagram and website at some point!

Company Policies:

Late Policy/Fee

If a client is more than 10 minutes late, the Session WILL be cut down however many minutes they are late. For example, if you are 15 minutes late to a 1-Hour Session, we will only spend 45-Minutes shooting. In addition, a Late Fee of $25.00 will apply to clients over 15 minutes late. This fee is to be paid at the day of the Session. There are many occasions where I may have two sessions back to back, and if a client is late to the first this affects others too. Late fees are non-negotiable so I advise my clients to arrive early, or on time.

If a client chooses to add professional makeup to their session, and is late to their makeup application, please be aware that this may result in the need for your session to be rescheduled.

Cancellations

Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the session date will result in no refund of the $50.00 security deposit. Please be respectful of my time and my business by cancelling your session if need be as soon as possible. After 2 client cancellations, a second $50.00 deposit will be necessary. â€‹

Photo Storage/Protection

After your Final Photos have been delivered to you through your Online Gallery, I will store your gallery uploaded into my editing software for 1 month. If you wish to request any changes in editing (crop requests, black and white requests, etc.) they will need to be made within that first month. After that month, no changes may be made to your gallery. Keep this in mind for images that need to go to your child’s yearbook committee during their senior year.

Your Final Photos will, however, be accessible within the Online Gallery for 1 year after the Session date. If you ever lose your gallery link, I am more than happy to send it to you again if you need to re-download your final images.

Refunds

I do not, under any uncertain terms, provide refunds to my clients. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your final products, I will work with you in other ways to ensure your satisfaction.
